For some reason I don’t find The Daily Show as funny as The Colbert Report. The iPhone 4 that I sold to a guy in Austrailia still has not be reported as delivered nor have I received feedback from it. I don’t know if he got it but as long as it doesn’t come back as an unknown address I should be good. One of my friends from band messaged me on Facebook and wanted me to fix his iPhone. Apparently he downloaded the 3.1.3 firmware but for the 3G not 3GS so it would not restore in iTunes. One good thing about Apple products is that it is almost impossible to break them in terms of software. If something happens simply restore or downgrade. I have never seen one that just crashes or is not salvageable. I watched the movie My Soul to Take with Max Theriot from The Pacifier. It was one of those bored on the weekend movies but not a midnight release type of movie if you know what I mean.

I watched a documentary about the production of the Cirque Du Solei show called Love. They take about 20 Beatles songs and make a whole production and story with them. It looked pretty awesome and I would go to it if I had a ticket to Las Vegas and an extra $200 for a ticket. It was 5 years in production and the actors looked like they were really dedicated to the project. I watched some of Hawaoo Five-O but didn’t finish it all the way. I just realized that I have my eagle board, a huge AP Biology test, an English Vocab test, and probably something that will come up all next Tuesday. Let’s just say it will be a very busy day. I saw all the kids at school brought balloons into our classes but they were taken to prevent them being a “distraction”. I have the maturity to ignore some balloons but apparently the school makes a big deal out of it.

I posted the article for the Lodge Banquet on the OA website and put one of my pictures from last year as the cover photo. I called the guy from Council that is in charge of scheduling Eagle boards and he said that he could do it in 2 weeks. I am so nervous I don’t know if I can make it. I watched the Grammy’s for about an hour and saw Bieber’s performance. I don’t know why he had a stupid bandanna hanging out acting as if he is a gang member but it was not very classy. I played Counter Strike for a few hours until bedtime. I tried to get up to 100 hours on Counter Strike but only made it to 98 hours. I looked at the profiles of some administrators on my server and they have 800 to 2,000 hours played. Pretty crazy if you ask me. We had another current event due in Spanish 3 but it was easy using Google Translate. It may not get all the grammar right but you can pretty much make out when the sentences mean.

We didn’t do much today but my brother, dad, and I drove to my grandmas house in Stuart. Today was her birthday and we decided to install some shelving in her garage for storage. When she moved in we just put the storage boxes along the rafters in the garage but those were a little unsafe. We cut up plywood and nailed it to make basically a second floor to the garage for boxes. Some stuff we threw out because it was broken or really old. We drove home and changed then went to Jupiter FL. My aunt made a reservation at a Habachi restaurant and it was really entertaining. Our chef juggled eggs before breaking them into the fried rice which was pretty cool. I forgot my video camera and I am pretty mad I did because it was really neat. We walked around and stopped at a few bars before heading home.

I saw on Twitter that President Mubarak stepped down. I haven’t seen people that crazy and excited in a long time. I was watching Al-Jazeera for a few hours to get the scoop of how it happened.I signed up for orientation for FSU today and it is sometime in May. I really hate sitting in cars for 8 hours but I guess I have to attend so I know what is going on. I was actually thinking of how little my latency will be on Counter Strike while playing at the college. It is rumored that the new iPad is coming out this month so we shall see if it is worth the hype. The Motorola Xoom is nearing launch and by the videos I’ve seen on it, it should be a pretty good iPad competitor.

I am really starting to hate Spanish 3. She speaks so fast and we have a test every Thursday. She allows no time for any activities outside of the curriculum like plays, shows, or assemblies that happen in the schools auditorium during her class. I calculated my GPA if I got straight A’s and it would be a 5.25. I am taking 3 honors classes and an AP which should look great on my final transcripts. I stopped by McDonald’s after school and got a sweet tea and McChicken sandwich. I figured it is healthier to eat there once a week instead of every school day. I was listening to NPR on the way home and they were discussing Mubarak’s speech he made to Egypt. I doubt he will stay in office much longer but we shall see what happens in the coming days. I just hope that the right people are put in place as the new government before it falls into the wrong hands.

I spent a grand total of 45 minutes in math today which kinda sucked because we had a sub and any student knows they are fun. I met up with the rest of the Envirothon people and we took the teachers vans down to the park. Each of the 5 sections have about 60 questions and an oral question so it is not the most enjoyable field trip but it is really good AP exam practice and a learning opportunity if nothing else. They had about a dozen extra pizzas so I brought one home for my parents to eat for dinner tonight. I keep hearing about the new tablet called the HP Playbook but I am still putting my money on the Motorola Xoom. Faster processor, 2 cameras, HD recording, Android 3.0, dual core processor, and a bigger screen then the iPad. I have done the last 2 weeks of blogs tonight but I am so glad I am caught up now. I can finally start my homework now .

I finally finished Shawshank Redemption and I could see how it got a 9.2 on IMDB and an 88% on Rotten Tomatoes. It really transported you into the prison and I related to the characters, especially Brooks. The movie was recommended by Shaycarl and I am glad I downloaded it. I started assembling the panoramas I took during the hike and they are coming out nicely. I don’t know how a program and figure out how to seam the pictures together so well and come out with a great image in the end. We watched a movie in English that some of her students did a few years ago and it was pretty enjoyable. I was going to make a movie but I was thinking a slideshow not an actual movie. I confirmed my Eagle board with council for the 22nd of February and I am getting more nervous as it gets closer. The meeting was pretty nonsense since the leaders didn’t have a meeting planned (I hope that changes soon).

I saw a review for a new Nikon Nikkor lens that was a 28-300mm which is perfect for my type of photography. The only problem is that is retails for $1,030 . In Spanish we had to turn in a current event and a handful of kids forgot about it. I felt good because having all the homework is the only reason I left Spanish 2 with a C. If I can keep up having the homework every day and not totally failing the tests then I just may be able to pass this class . We have our Beowulf project due tomorrow but knowing me I will wait until tomorrow morning to do it. I played Counter Strike pretty much all night and got some trucking magazines in the mail too. Some people have was to much money and time to customize their trucks but they do look pretty awesome though. I presented my Beowulf project which was a love letter written to Beowulf found in a glass bottle .

My legs and feet felt much better this morning compared to last night. I didn’t like my tent to much though. It fit me pretty well the last few years but I have gotten so tall that my feet and head touch the fabric even if I am diagonal. We had about 4 younger scouts join us for the last 12 miles of the hike. When we gathered for the celebratory last mile, I took some panoramas of all the scouts all along the beach. They would have been better if I was higher up but I couldn’t help that to much. The link to the album is HERE. I rode home with a scout mom and was pretty stiff after I was sitting in my chair for a few hours. I had to walk down the street to a Super Bowl party for my dinner but it was worth the pain of walking. Pulled pork, empanadas, Stromboli, lasagna, meatballs, and all the fixings that make parties great. I was bummed that the Steelers lost but at least it gives other teams a chance.
